Truffle Donut, the popular nama donut brand from Tottori, Japan, officially announced today that it will make its Hong Kong debut. The brand will open its first Hong Kong store at Harbour City in Tsim Sha Tsui, bringing local customers a new Japanese “nama” donut texture experience.

The first Hong Kong store will launch 10 nama donut flavours in total, including 7 Original Classic flavours and 3 Hong Kong Exclusive flavours, offering local customers a wide and distinctive range of choices.

Classic Original Series (7 Flavours):

1. Truffle: The brand’s signature creation, featuring an aromatic truffle fragrance balanced exquisitely between sweetness and savouriness. As the flagship flavour that inspired the brand’s name, this made-to-order nama donut delivers understated luxury through a simple yet refined flavour profile.
2. Original: Made with dough kneaded with milk and pumpkin, this flavour brings out a natural sweetness and the signature soft, airy texture of Truffle Donut’s Japanese nama donut. Though simple in appearance, it best reflects the purity and delicate layers of the dough itself.
3. Whipped Cream: Filled with light and delicate fresh cream, this flavour offers a smooth mouthfeel and balanced sweetness for a refreshing, non-greasy finish. Paired with the donut’s soft and airy dough, it presents a classic and universally appealing balance of flavour.

Reinterpreted through the delicate texture of a Japanese nama donut, it brings a familiar local flavour in a refreshing new form.
2. Durian: Made with silky Musang King durian filling and topped with durian flesh, this flavour delivers a richer and more intense layer of durian character. Combined with the soft and chewy nama donut dough, it creates a bold and highly distinctive taste.
