Beyblade fever has been sweeping across Hong Kong in recent years, captivating both children and adult players with high-speed spinning battles and exciting competition. For the first time, San-Kinn Taiwanese Hot Pot is teaming up with the well-known local Beyblade community Hong Kong Blader to host the inaugural "Let It Rip! San Kinn Beyblade Championship", bringing the excitement of Beyblade battles into a Taiwanese hotpot restaurant and creating a fun-filled and competitive experience for enthusiasts across Hong Kong.
Just as hotpot brings people together over a lively meal, Beyblade battles unite players of different ages through speed, power and competitive spirit. As a family-friendly Taiwanese hotpot restaurant, San-Kinn Taiwanese Hot Pot is introducing two competition categories - the Junior Division and Open Division - giving Beyblade enthusiasts of different ages the opportunity to showcase their skills and experience the thrill of competition.
Two Competition Divisions | 48 Spots Available Across Hong Kong
The first-ever "Let It Rip! San Kinn Beyblade Championship" will take place in November 2026, featuring two competitions: the "Junior Division" and the "Open Division". Each competition will accommodate 24 participants, with a total of 48 spots available. Beyblade enthusiasts aged 6 or above can register online for free through the official registration form.
Junior Division｜Ages 6-12
Open Division｜Ages 13 or Above
Tournament Format｜Round-Robin Group Stage Followed by Top 16 Knockout Rounds
The championship will follow the "3-Beyblade, 4-Point Format", consisting of two stages: "A round-robin group stage" and a "Top 16 single-elimination tournament". Participants will be tested on their Beyblade combinations, launching techniques and ability to adapt during battle.
Stage 1｜Round-Robin Group Stage
Participants will compete in groups of three, with matchups determined by an on-site draw. The top two players from each group will advance to the Top 16 knockout stage. If players finish with identical results, rankings will be determined in the following order: total match wins, total points scored, point difference (total points scored minus total points conceded), and head-to-head results.
Stage 2｜Top 16 Single-Elimination Tournament
The 16 qualifying players will compete in single-elimination matches under the "3-Beyblade, 4-Point Format". The first player to score 4 points in each match will advance to the next round, until the Champion, First Runner-up, Second Runner-up and Fourth-place finisher are determined.
Four Ways to Score Points:
If two finishing moves occur simultaneously, the referee will declare a tie and order a rematch. If multiple finishing moves occur during a single battle, the earliest finishing move will determine the result.
All participants must use genuine Beyblade X series products (US versions are not accepted) and bring at least three Beyblades to the competition. Modified, weighted, coated, counterfeit or imitation Beyblades are strictly prohibited. On-site referees reserve the right to inspect participants' equipment at any time.
Extra Exciting Prizes for the Top Four｜Beyblade Sets and a Complimentary Hotpot All-You-Can-Eat Set
To reward outstanding performance, San-Kinn Taiwanese Hot Pot has prepared a selection of Beyblade X prizes and complimentary Taiwanese hotpot all-you-can-eat meals for the top four players, combining the excitement of competition with delicious dining rewards.
In addition, accompanying friends and family members of the above prize winners can enjoy a 12% discount on dining, applicable to a maximum of 10 accompanying guests, allowing winners to celebrate their achievements with their family and friends.
